He's where the peace is.

I don't know about you, but it has been a very busy season of life.

My book just launched. I have a brand new book club. My sweet grandbaby will be born any day now.

With all the business of life, it felt like I have been constantly running around trying to keep up with everything that needs to be done.

So when I heard God prompting me to find a way to create rest and peace in His presence, I listened.

I immediately knew what God wanted me to do: paint... of course!

As soon as my brush touched the paper -- a wave of calmness washed over me, and suddenly everything else melted away into nothing more than background noise.

My heart began overflowing with love for Jesus as each stroke of my brush revealed a unique masterpiece forming right before my eyes.

Creating has become my sacred time; God sings over me His eternal song of love while He blesses me with each piece of artwork.

I am so thankful I discovered that God made me to create.

It makes my heart more healed. It takes me into the presence of Jesus. Grief diminishes when I make new with my Creator!

What do you do to find rest and peace with Him?
