I've had this reminder come up several times.
So maybe there's a reason, and you need to hear it as well.
Sometimes, we think it's too late to try new things...
Whether you're a 14-year-old, someone in their forties, or even a wise soul at the beautiful age of 84, if your heart is calling you to do something, my friend, you've got to listen!
I had retired, Had grown children, and had a whole other career before I ever stepped into being a painter, an author, a mentor, a course creator, a podcaster.
Never stop exploring this beautiful adventure called life.
Who cares about age?
Age is just a number, my friend.
What truly matters is the fire in your heart, the passion God placed in your soul.
Job 12:12: "Wisdom is with aged men, with long life is understanding."
Psalm 92:14: "They will still yield fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and very green."
So, my dear friend, take a moment to reassess your heart's desires.
God created you to live FULLY for Him.
Allow yourself to try something new, no matter where you are in life's grand story.
Change is something we should embrace, not shy away from. Why? Because when you stop trying new things and exploring, life stops progressing.
New ideas bring about growth, innovation and possibility. Think of a time you stepped out of your comfort zone to do something different - chances are the outcome was positive!
So whether you're looking for a career change, want to start a side hustle, or simply explore something you've always been curious about, now is the time!
With each step we takeout of our comfort zone, we are taking a step closer to living fully for Christ and embracing His plans for us.
Life is meant to be lived, explored and enjoyed - so be willing to dive into the unknown with courage, faith, and joy. The potential is limitless.
God has something amazing waiting for you - let's find it together!
